For the last five years, I've been invited to various parties to come and create fashion sketches for guests. It's a wonderful experience where I can meet new people and see what sorts of fashions people are wearing. I get to see what's in style, what's popular, and how people use fashion to express their unique personalities.
It's great fun to draw people right then and there - and so many guests will comment about how amazing they look afterwards. Fashion sketches are different from caricatures - I like to draw people at their best, so they can look at their artwork later and feel good about themselves and remember a really fun evening they had with their family and friends.
